Ariana Grande, Ready to Launch a Beauty Line Named After Her New Album
Ariana Grande is obviously just getting started in the beauty industry. After several years of setting beauty trends all over the world, releasing 6 best-selling perfumes and even inspiring a bath bomb, it appears that she’s now ready to turn “Thank U, Next” her album and hit single into its own beauty line.
Grande, who released the single titled Thank U, Next last year in November, and subsequently released an album with the same name earlier this year, has filed a trademark that would have her creating a line of various beauty products under that name.
The U.S Office of Patent and Trademark said that the artiste filed for the trademark on April 2. She filed the trademark for different beauty products, and that includes fragrances, I.e., Eau de parfum, eau de toilette, and eau de cologne. There are also other beauty products that include bath gels, body lotions, body mists, body scrubs, just to mention a few.
As earlier noted, this isn’t Grande’s first stint in the beauty industry. She already has a line of fragrances that are mass marketed, and they include Ari, Sweet Like Candy, and Cloud, available for purchase at Ulta Beauty.
In 2018, Lush also launched a bath bomb that got its inspiration from the pink and purple hues from the singer’s music video for her song “God Is A Woman.”
There is no gainsaying that Grande is establishing herself as a beauty mogul following the steps of Rihanna who is already an icon for her works with the line Fenty Beauty.
Thank U, Next
According to sources, GrandAri Inc. filed the trademark. GrandAri Inc. is the owner of Grande’s fragrance line.
The trademark bears what can be described as the singer’s signature, i.e., A heart placed over the “I” that appears in “Ariana.”
The song Thank U Next was a huge success and it broke records on YouTube. The fact that the singer even decided to name her studio album after the song and even give her beauty line that same name all point to how much love she has for the name.
The music video was created in a rom-com style and has Grande acting as Elle Woods (Legally Blonde) and even Regina George (Mean Girls). Some of her very close friends also appeared in the music video.
Ariana Grande is an American songwriter, singer, and actress. She was born in Florida, and she started her acting career in 2008. Her first role was on Broadway musical 13, after which she took up Cat Valentine’s role in Nickelodeon TV series “Victorious.”
As earlier noted, Thank U, Next is Grande’s fifth studio album which was released by Republic Records on February 8, 2019. She created the album amid personal matters such as her ex-boyfriend’s death (Mac Miller) as well as the break up with Pete Davidson.
