Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Sells LA Mansion That He Gifted to Ex Raven Lyn Corneil. Here are the Details of the Stunning Property

What are you willing to give your partner? A love letter, a box of chocolates, or a house? For the average Joe and Jane, a thoughtful present is sweet enough to keep their relationship at the romantic level. However, if you are a social network mogul with a net worth of $4.1 billion and your girlfriend is a jet-setting model, maybe a $4.225-million mansion is enough to keep everything smooth.

The spacious house was allegedly a gift to his former girlfriend

Unfortunately, for Jack Dorsey and Raven Lyn Corneil it’s not the same story – a year after the Twitter founder bought this house for his Sports Illustrated model girlfriend, they broke up and now, since the big house is empty, he is selling the place for almost $4.5 million.

Award-Winning Residence

The architecture of this $4.5-million house plays with quadrilaterals and angles

The sleek and modern house spans 3,730 sq ft with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, so there is no wonder that in just under two weeks, the abode, which is an AIA Los Angeles Residential Architecture awardee in 2017, already has a buyer, but the agency handling the listing did not disclose the deal.

Aside from its contemporary use of angles and quadrilaterals and the combination of the hardness of concrete and the warmth of dark-stained woods, what makes this property the perfect place for those who want some time away from the busy streets of the city is its serene location on the hillside street near the famous Mulholland Drive.

It also boasts a wonderful view of the San Fernando Valley, making anyone who lives there feel miles away from the city.

Minimalist Interior

Welcoming us from the front door is the minimalistic receiving area that is bound with rectangular details. Walls are all white except for the one supporting the 18-step wooden floating staircase, which seems to be made from whitewood limestone. This staircase leads the visitors to the open-concept interior on the second floor, which is both the living room, the formal dining area, and the kitchen space.

The floors have concrete-like rectangular tiles in stack board pattern contrasting with white walls. The living area even has a limestone fireplace while opposite that is floor-to-ceiling Fleetwood glass sliders. Walking further from the dining area is a modern minimalistic kitchen that has a long marble island with built-in sink and gas range.

On the left side, standing from the dining area is a tall and long dark-wood kitchen closet tucking in what seems to be a two-door refrigerator and ovens, while on the other side are glass sliding doors.

There is also a floor-to-ceiling glass window on the end of the kitchen hall peeping toward the adjacent terrace. With the abounding presence of windows and glass all over this architecture, views of the valley are seen from every angle.

Aside from an award-winning architecture, the house also boasts its view

The residence is also perfect for lounging around with each glass sliding doors leading to terraces – the one in the living area is the biggest one, complete with a barbecue grill and outdoor sink and fridge while the other one is near the kitchen. Both terraces are surrounded by a glass barrier.

The master suite, which has its wing, comes with a walk-in closet and a marble-wall bathroom. The suite also has a stand-alone bathtub and a massive shower with dual rainfall showerheads. The bed is perfectly facing the private terrace separated by another giant glass sliding doors.

On the first floor are the rest of the four ensuite guest or staff rooms, and other rooms like a media room, a laundry room, and spaces for storage. There are plenty of sliding doors at this level, which is the doorway to the backyard that is set with a lawn and wood-paneled floor near the infinity-edge pool that is also equipped with an attached spa.
